I used this tutorial to learn how to do the polaroid effect, and it was surprisingly easy. The picture is from a trip we took last summer to go to my brother's wedding.
Thanks! But I totally took it from the tutorial. I've been thinking about how I can play with it, and I don't think that it'd be too hard to be creative with the basic technique.
