Children's Museum

We headed to the children's museum today, and Monkey had a blast. We spent about 1/2 of the total time there at the replica fire truck they had, and Monkey alternated between driving to the fire, then jumping out and putting out a fire to save the animals that were painted on the wall there by the firetruck. We did try out some other things too, but the firetruck was definitely the favorite!

Notice the firehat! We'd been back for round two on the firetruck at this point.

He does like the big machinery! When I took him to the one down by me, he was a big fan of the yellow crane. Between that and the water-room, I'm not sure we did much else the whole time :)

Yep, he does like the machines! He was sooo excited when I told him there was a crane and a firetruck. And he spent the rest of the afternoon telling me that I needed to take him back... even though the place closed shortly after his nap was over! I tried to talk him into spending some time on this cool heart thing, where you could climb right up into a huge heart, then slide down a "vein" on the way out, but he barely gave it a second glance on the way from the machines to the water. Silly boy!
