So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the dearth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

We had a very interesting discussion on "replenish" and "dominion" in Sunday School today.. hehe. (happily, no one brought up "carbon footprints"..*teeniest snicker*) Though really, there were some good points for pondering brought up too :) If God was the creator and gave mankind "dominion", essentially that we be stewards in his place, perhaps we should show everything around us, people included, a little more similar treatment to what God shows us.
