Big Party Noodle Salad

Mom asked me to bring noodle salad to Kate's open house, and when I asked around (we don't typically eat noodle salad at my house) I got this recipe that was used at a recent Women's Conference. It's a bit of an expensive salad at this time of year, but in the summer when grapes are in season it would be considerably better. Monkey was awfully happy to see those grapes though! He's been asking and asking for them!

Big Party Noodle Salad
4 c (32oz) cooked chicken, diced
12 oz box (6 c cooked) bowtie pasta
1 1/2 c green grapes, cut
1 1/2 c red grapes, cut
10 oz can pineapple tidbits, drained
2 c thinly sliced celery
1/2 c scallions/green onions
2 c cashews
2 c craisins

Dressing
16 oz (1 bottle) Hidden Valley coldslaw dressing
1 c mayonnaise

Mix all ingredients except cashews & crasins. Whip together dressing. (Original recipe called for 1/2 c mayonnaise and 1/2 cup miracle whip, but we substituted.) Pour over salad; marinate 12-24 hours. Add cashews and craisins just before serving.

Serves 20-ish

Oh girl my copy and pasting is working on this one. Thanks for sharing. It's going on my blog so I won't lose it. Please don't sue me for breaking copyright laws!!

It's not a problem to share - and I certainly don't have the copyright. As far as I am aware it's a recipe that's just been passed around. I don't think that it came from a book.

Sounds yummy! So sorry I have been away for awhile! My life has been hectic. Obviously, I took an extended break from the blogging world while doing a couple quick posts to my own blog just so everyone knew we didn't fall off the face of the Earth! I hope to be back to Sunday Scripture soon!
