When our daughter was about 9 or 10 I asked her to clean up the mess her two youngest brothers made (pulling books and toys off the shelf) and she protested saying "When I'm the mom I'm not going to make my children work." I replied, "So, when you have children YOU are going to do all the work yourself?" You should have seen the look on her face as she realized the dilemma. Priceless! Today at 25 she regularly thanks me for teaching her how to do all the work around a house. Hurrah for parental paydays.
Kids are hilarious! I need to come up with a more permanent place to put some of this stuff. Scrapbooks or something. The kids say some awesome things.

Most of my blog entries are going to go in my journal if I ever find time to do either.
