I'm getting a wisdom tooth removed tomorrow. Oh. Yay. I'm so stinking nervous. And then I've got to get the boy down to the doctor's. Poor little sausage is still sick.
So....after having a wisdom tooth removed, when most people curl up in bed and baby themselves for a day or so, you'll be taking your little man to the doctors?
Wow! What a Mom!
Have you had wisdoms out before? I had mine out in Germany, and I don't know what it was about that guy, but he had them out lickety split (There was so little of them through the gums I have no idea how he even got hold of them) and I was feeling fine by that evening. No swelling or anything.
So far, so good. The actual "extraction" (isn't that a kind word for YANK?) was pretty unpleasant. And my face is numb to my hairline on the right side. I am SO having some ice cream after the Monkey's appointment. I'd be seriously tempted to do that tomorrow, but we're supposed to head to Oklahoma tomorrow. Which reminds me, I need to find a Sunday School sub. Wanna come over so I can take a nap?? Hopefully the dr can figure out what's up with my Boy in short order. Hopefully the Boy needs a second nap today: in addition to everything else, we had another bad night last night.
Much better - thanks. I'm eating real food again and things are still a little tender in there, but getting back to normal. Brushing my teeth is a bit of an adventure, though. At least it was only 1. I'm not sure I could have done more than that in a single setting, even as good as my dentist is. That sucker had a nasty curve on it and scraped its way past the other bone in there. NOT FUN. But it's over now, so I'm not complaining. Just hoping that I don't get any more cavities in the other ones. Ugh.
Monkey's good. His doctor put him on antibiotics for a sinus infection, and he's much better, but teething.
As for the tooth, I'd much prefer to give birth than go to the dentist. Going to the dentist has SUCKED the past several times. But giving birth wasn't so bad. I used the Hypnobirthing stuff that I learned to help me through the dentist thing.
You poor thing. =( I'm so sorry it's been horrid at the dentist for you lately.
Hypnobirthing is AWESOME! I did hypnobabies - similar programme - and while I didn't have a completely natural birth, it was MUCH better, calmer, and I was in much more control than the other two births. =)

Hopefully yours will go just as swimmingly. =)
I keep forgetting....
And I do hope Monkey feels better. Poor little guy!!! Give him a little squeeze from us.

I had 3 of them removed a couple months ago so the experience is so fresh in my mid. I hope your feeling better now though. Happy Mother's Day!

Oh dude, sounds like it wasn't any fun for you at all! Hope you continue to recover. How's the monkey? =)
