It was fun. We taped the sheet of paper to the table and put a smock on him and let him go to town with whatever colors he wanted. He had a couple different size paint brushes and a piece of sponge to play with. He had a good time at it, and wasn't even miffed at me when I decreed that I would not be giving any more paint to him because I was worried that more paint would make the paper tear.
