I tried to leave a comment earlier but my laptop froze and I don't know if it went through. So I'm trying again :) I was just saying that your cake is gorgeous and I love the flowers and marbling effect. How did you get your monogram to look kind of like metal and bright? Was it some kind of luster dust? I love it!!
I'm glad you guys like it! Cheryl, the monogram is just plain frosting, no luster dust. I don't have any of that (yet). What I did was I used a largish tip - should have used a larger to get a smoother effect, but I'd started out trying something different that didn't work out at all - and did the monogram. Then, I went back with a smaller tip and re-did it in a slightly darker color, with a thinner line.
