Thanks Barb! If I ever get a little bit of time and a working photo program I plan to tweak the picture at the top to be a bit more artistic, but I haven't had time yet.
We did see some very interesting things outside in the past couple of days. If you look closely you'll notice that Monkey is wearing 2 different shirts in these pictures. It's because it was 2 days worth of nature study.
Thanks Keeley! I've been trying to work on my photography. My sister's getting married & I'm taking some of the "official" temple pictures, and it makes me very nervous. She plans to hang these pictures on her wall. Nothing like a bit of motivation. I've got a photography post in the works. Good thing that this stuff doesn't take tons of time.
That bunny is so incredibly tame. Other than my blueberry bushes (naughty bunny, that's what it's eating in the one picutre!) we haven't fed it anything. I was just *stunned* by how long it stayed and how close it let Monkey get. The squirrel too. It was amazing.
I have 4 blueberry twigs, actually. They all look like the one that Briar Rabbit is working on there. So we never even got to the part where the directions suggested removing this year's blossoms to have stronger, more fruitful bushes next year. But Andy and I didn't communicate very clearly about my concerns about the bunnies, so what you see is what we got: 4 twigs, sticking up out of the ground. We should have bought some bunny fence.
Yep. I'm actually taking a practice run here in the next week or so. I've got a couple of little girls lined up to dress in something nice and girly and come let me take their pictures. And then I'm going to corner some of my friends, get them to corner their husbands, and practice on them too if I can manage it. We'll see how it goes. I'm pretty nervous about the whole picture thing, but "if ye are prepared, ye shall not fear" so I'm trying to get prepared.
Good for you, doing practice shot and getting prepared. That's fantastic. =) You'll do fine, Ritsumei. I know this, because your pictures are fantabulous. =)

Haha, naughty Peter Rabbit eating your blueberry bushes. =)
You have blueberry bushes? How awesome is THAT? How many do you have and what kind of yield do you get?
Uh...you're taking the official Temple photos? Good Luck!!!! Nothing like absolute terror and panic to motivate you to excellence. =)

Mom -
I turned on comment moderation. It's an experiment, I haven't decided if I'm going to keep it, though I'm sort of liking it.
Thanks for the compliments on my pictures!
I'm removing your comment though (sorry!); please remember not to use Monkey's real name online. Thanks!
Mmmmm, blueberry twigs. Yummy. =D
